What Does the Seneca Student Dental Plan Cover?
The SSF Health & Dental Plan (Domestic Students)
Eligible domestic daytime students enrolled in approved full-time programs are automatically enrolled in the SSF Health & Dental Plan after paying the applicable insurance premium. Dental benefits are included; for services received from September 1, 2026 onward, the current SSF plan is administered by Alumo, with dental claims handled through Canada Life/TELUS AdjudiCare rather than the previous ClaimSecure arrangement.

Your student plan determines how much of an eligible service is covered. Any applicable co-payment, deductible, plan limit, or amount outside the plan’s coverage is your responsibility.

Our clinic is at 3582 Major MacKenzie Dr W in Vaughan, with access from Woodbridge, Maple, Vellore, and Kleinburg, plus free parking and public transit access.
Tuesday and Thursday hours extend to 7 PM, and Saturday appointments are available until 2 PM.
We provide written estimates before treatment and direct billing for many major insurance plans, with applicable out-of-pocket costs explained before care begins.

Getting Here from the Seneca@York Campus
Woodbridge Smile Centre is located at 3582 Major MacKenzie Dr W, Vaughan, in the Vellore Village area, west of Highway 400. From the Seneca@York Campus at 4700 Keele Street, the clinic is accessible by car via the major north-south and east-west roads connecting York University with Vaughan; driving time varies with traffic.
For transit, Seneca@York is served by TTC Line 1, with York University and Pioneer Village stations nearby; you can continue from the Line 1 corridor by local bus toward the clinic.

Am I Automatically Covered Under the Seneca (SSF) Plan?

I'm an International Student. Is My Dental Covered?
Eligible full-time international students at Seneca have mandatory health insurance included in their tuition-related fees. The current plan is administered by Alumo, and its extended health and dental benefits are available according to the plan’s terms and limits.
Do You Bill My Student Plan Directly?
We offer direct billing for eligible insurance plans when the applicable provider and service support electronic billing. Bring your current benefit card and student ID so we can verify the billing information before treatment.
Do You Accept the CDCP?
Yes. Woodbridge Smile Centre accepts CDCP patients and can bill Sun Life directly for eligible services. CDCP coverage depends on your eligibility, the service provided, the CDCP established fees, and any applicable additional charges.
